WHO: BC Chiefs, leaders and technicians/experts.
This will be a forum to learn and share information on the regulatory framework, First Nations jurisdiction, economic development opportunities, community impacts, and health considerations.
The goal of this forum is to facilitate engagement between First Nations Chiefs, delegates, and experts. The forum will enable the creation of a strategy report based on the content of presentations, plenary, and round table discussions. This report will highlight priorities for the First Nations Leadership Council to help guide their engagement on the Joint Working Group on the Legalization and Regulation of Non-Medical Cannabis.
A travel subsidy will be made available for one Chief or delegate per First Nation to attend the BC Forum only.
