Election for the Male Youth Representative position at the BC Assembly of First Nations Annual General Meeting on September 19, 2019 (“Election Day”) to be held in Vancouver, BC. The deadline to submit a complete Candidate Package is before midnight on August 5, 2019.

If you wish to nominate a Youth Council Representative (Male) for the upcoming election:

  • Members of the BCAFN as represented by the Chief or designate as recorded on the BCAFN Membership List may nominate candidates the Male Youth Council Representative position.
  • The Electoral Officer must receive nominations no later than midnight on August 5, 2019, and must be accompanied by:
    • A completed Nomination Acceptance Form.

Youth Council Representative (Male) Candidate Eligibility

Candidates for Male Youth Council Representative must be a member of a First Nation in British Columbia and be a male between the ages of 16 and 29 on election day.

The election will take place as follows:

All Candidates Forum: September 18, 2019 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Election Day: September 19, 2019
1st ballot will open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 a.m. Subsequent ballots, if required, will be announced.

Held at: Musqueam Community Centre, 6735 Salish Drive – Vancouver, BC
