FNLC All Chiefs Meeting on Children & Families

This two-day All-Chiefs Meeting will bring First Nations leaders from across B.C. together to support the exercise of First Nations jurisdiction over the care of their children and families. The meeting will provide an opportunity to share lessons learned that will help inform Canada’s five-year review of An Act respecting First Nations, Inuit and Metis children, youth and families. It will also provide a space to strengthen collective approaches and discuss other priorities that support the well-being and self-determination of First Nations children, families, and communities across B.C.
