Economic Development Background

The Upper Nicola does not have an Economic Development department, but its economic development agenda is carried out by the Chief and Council. Its Forestry department also handles all referrals from outside organizations working within the territory. Once a referral is received, the department reviews the referral to see if there is any cultural significance to the area the organization is interested in, and will then reply to the referral.
