Check out the BCAFN Black Books Toolkit
The BC Assembly of First Nations (BCAFN) is hosting a hybrid session to update First Nations communities, leaders, and citizens on the Black Books Toolkit. The session will use a hybrid format (in-person space is limited - once capacity is reached participants can join virtually) and be interactive, with opportunities for participants to receive targeted advice, recommendations, and resources from expert facilitators from Four Directions Management Services.
These sessions will also provide an opportunity to shape the BCAFN Economic Development Strategy and key priorities. The Blackbooks Toolkit and additional resources can be found on the BCAFN events website
The BC Assembly of First Nations is committed to fiscal responsibility, reducing barriers, and ensuring First Nations in BC have the opportunity to engage. We will provide a travel subsidy for up to two (2) participants per nation for the first 25 registrants. Upon conclusion of the session and confirmation of attendance, travel claim reimbursement forms will be provided to participants for travel reimbursement.
Who should attend: The BCAFN invites First Nations members in BC, including leadership, management, entrepreneurs, and youth.
