The Assembly of First Nations is divided into ten regions, including BC. The AFN has established a number of national committees and working groups, which are generally made up of one representative from each region. The Regional Chief is required to appoint one political representative to each committee or working group. Where a committee or working group also consists of technical experts, the Regional Chief is also required to appoint one technical representative to each committee or working group.
