National Portfolios

The National Chief has established the following five executive committee portfolios:

  1. First Nations Families
  2. Exercising and Implementing Rights
  3. First Nations’ Governance
  4. Environment and Economy
  5. Management Committee

BC Regional Chief Jody Wilson-Raybould and Regional Chief George Stanley of Alberta have both been assigned to the First Nations’ Governance portfolio.  This is an important portfolio for BC First Nations’ given our unique experiences in addressing the ‘land question’.
